Have you ever had everything you thought you wanted… yet still felt unfulfilled?
I have!
From the outside, my life reflected success, But internally, there was a quiet feeling of unfulfillment. On Sat, Nov 16th 2024, I prayed for direction in a way I never had before, asking God to lead me and make His answer unmistakably clear. The very next day, I was sitting at church, listening to a message about Abraham being called to trust God beyond what was comfortable. The pastor then read:
“Take your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac and go to the land of Moriah…” Genesis 22:2
The moment “Moriah” was spoken, I knew God was calling me by name. And before I understood what it all meant, I said YES!
Within 45 days, I moved my life to San Diego, and every step along the way was met with confirmation that I was exactly where I was meant to be. That decision transformed my life. Following Christ has been the most challenging journey I’ve walked but also the most fulfilling. It’s brought a level of peace and purpose that only comes through surrender and obedience. I’ve learned that faith isn’t just a moment, it’s a way of living.
And through that obedience, God revealed a greater calling: to build, to serve, and to create impact beyond myself. That calling became Holy Ground Foundation, a place where lives are transformed, not just inspired.

Mariah - Founder
"First and foremost, I'm a follower of Christ and a woman pursuing God's heart, living in His purpose and aligning with His will. Not perfectly, but faithfully. I'm also a mom to Jaylon & Julian. Our days are filled with baseball, countless baths, and all the little moments in between that come with raising boys. Through it all, God is my anchor, and the love from my boys is a daily reminder of just how blessed I truly am. I am walking in obedience, surrendering daily, and trusting in who God is and the purpose He has for my life. My prayer is to honor God in all I do, glorify His name, and live a life that reflects His love and leave a lasting impact as a testimony of what He can do through a surrendered heart."

Our Leadership
Mariah Franco is the Founder and Executive Director of Holy Ground Foundation. She serves as the visionary leader and primary spokesperson — overseeing operations, implementing programs, and leading partnerships to advance the mission. She is a follower of Christ, a mom to Jaylon and Julian, and a woman walking daily in obedience to God's calling on her life.
